This image of a flower that is in my flower garden. The assignment was to take a picture and show texture.  At first that sounded very easy to do…kind of a point and shoot. However, I had found that it was more difficult to do because the camera wanted to move between multiple focal point on the flower. I eventually had to turn off the auto-focus and shoot manually so that I could get a decent shot.

It was also fun to bring this image into Lightroom and fix a few of the issues that I had from the photo shoot. I truly enjoy shooting with natural light and in the evening.
